“Healing Haiti
1 Song @ A Time” is a new concert series created here in Nashville in response
to the tragic earthquake in Haiti. The first show will be January 27th
at 12th and Porter at 7 p.m.
- Doors open at 6 p.m.
Within
less than 24 hours, artists were confirmed and tickets were for sale. Jonny
Lang, Marc Broussard, Dave Barnes, Josh Hoge, Matt Wertz, Tommy Sims, Melinda
Doolittle along with Heidi Rojas and Matt Ridenour have come together to make a
memorable evening to raise money for Haiti Victims and one that Nashville will
never forget. The second show will be announced that
night. All proceeds will go to the Salvation Army’s relief efforts in Haiti. Major
Vincent, President of Salvation Army Nashville, will be present to receive all
donations. Items donated by local businesses and autographed memorabilia will
be auctioned off to help raise additional funds for the Salvation Army.
